National African-American Parent Involvement Day!

National African-American Parent Involvement Day is on Monday, February 11.  This is the first year that King’s is recognizing this day, in an effort to honor and celebrate the support and involvement of

African-Americans, Black Americans and people of African descent in the King’s community.

We would like to invite you to a Coffee Chat with Administrators and other parents from 8:30 am – 9:15am in the library!

There will be opportunities for you to visit, volunteer and assist in your child’s classroom.  Teachers will be posting their activities and times in their class newsletters.  As always, we love having volunteers – especially our parents on campus!  If your schedule allows, we would also love to have your support on the playground, lunchroom, library and carpool.  Please join us for our inaugural National African-American Parent Involvement Day at King’s Elementary!
