Welcome!

Welcome to all new and returning King’s Families!  We are excited to have you as part of the King’s community!  Please let us know if we can assist you in any way!

New Faces!

We are pleased to welcome the following amazing new teachers to various grade levels at King’s Elementary School for the 2019-2020 school year!  God bless you, as you love, inspire, teach and equip hearts and minds this year!

Carpool Drop-Off and Pick-Up

Please read and review the carpool procedures.  They are designed to ensure the safety of your children.

Morning North Carpool Lot – Grades 1 – 6:  Please DO NOT diagonal park and walk your children through the parking lot.  This is a huge safety concern.  Follow the steps below:

  1. Park
  2. Walk on sidewalk
  3. Cross where designated

There is NO parking on 195th.  There are signs indicating those areas are Tow Away Zones.

Note:  Parking on the shoulder of Dayton Ave N causes traffic issues and unsafe conditions for your children.  Please follow the carpool pick-up plan and please do not try to circumvent the system.

Office Communications

When you are emailing the office, please be sure to email Mrs. de Langen at mdelangen@kingsschools.org and Mrs. von Seggern at hvonseggern@kingsschools.org.

Any change in student pick-up at the end of the day needs to go through the office.  This is the only way to be sure your student gets the message.  If you send an email to the teacher, he/she may not be available to respond due to teaching students.  Please call the office at 206-546-7258 with any questions.

Parent Post!

Be sure to read the Parent Post encompassing all of King’s Schools.  You will receive the email from parentpost@kingsschools.org starting next Friday, September 13. This is a “no-reply” email. Please direct any questions to the school offices. Information on all of King’s Schools will be included, as well as links to information on our individual schools. Click on King’s Elementary to access our information each week!

 Medication at School

During the course of the school year, your child may need to take medication at school. A “Permission to Administer Medication Form” must be completed with a physician and parent signature. All medications, OVER-THE-COUNTER and PRESCRIPTION, require a completed form and must be in their original containers. Prescription medications, including inhalers, must have a prescription label. Please label OVER-THE-COUNTER medications with your student’s first and last name. Forms are available in the school office or on Parents Web.
