Thank you! To all of our preschool families for your commitment and support. We were so blessed to see our families attend Parent Information Night. This is a critical event for connecting and building relationships with your child’s teachers along with other preschool families.
King’s Preschool classrooms are visiting the high school library for weekly story time with Mrs. Shapiro. Mrs. Green’s classroom spent time in the high school library this week listening to the following stories:
Mouse, Look Out! By Judy Waite
Don’t Eat Teacher By Nick Ward
Friday, October 7 – King’s Preschool’s – Half Day Prekindergarten class is closed
Tuesday, October 11 – Pumpkin Farm Field trip at The Farm with Mrs. Green’s, Ms. Moon’s, and Ms. Luquin’s classes, all Prekindergarten classes
Date change: Wednesday, October 12 – A Pumpkin Hunt with Mrs. Helleren at King’s Preschool with Mrs. Bozick’s, Mrs. Paulus’s, and Ms. Nasution’s classes
Friday, October 14 – King’s Preschool’s Full Day and Half Day classes are closed
We have some exciting hands on learning occurring in our classrooms daily. Ms. Moon’s classroom is working together to create our learning friend “Mat Man”. This group work and the creation of “Mat Man,” from Handwriting Without Tears, helps students learn socialization, collaboration, body awareness, and building skills. With the use of lines and curves from “Mat Man,” students learn drawing and prewriting skills as well as counting when they transfer the lines and curves from “Mat Man” to letter and number building.
