Saturday is a BIG Day for Fall Sports!

Good luck to our boys and girls Cross Country Runners as they head off to the state meet at Sun Willows Golf Course in Pasco this weekend. The girls will race at 10:30 Saturday and the boys will race at noon on Saturday. The girls qualified as a team and will have seven girls competing this weekend. The boys qualified two individuals for the race on Saturday.

Good luck to our Volleyball Team as they play a 1:00 p.m. match Saturday at Mike Martin Gym that would qualify them for the state tournament in Yakima the following week. The Lady Knights will play the winner of the match between Cedar Park Christian and Overlake.

Good luck to our Girls Soccer Team who will play for the bi-district championship after defeating Meridian 5-0 in the district championship this past Saturday. The Lady Knights will face Overlake at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday at Newport High School. The team has already qualified for state regardless of the outcome on Saturday and will host a state playoff match next Tuesday or Wednesday.

Good luck to our Football Team as they host Meridian at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday in the district playoffs at Woolsey Stadium. With a win, the Knights would advance to the state tournament and host a game next Friday or Saturday.

Just a reminder that all playoff games require all fans to pay for admission. Booster club memberships and ASB cards do not get you in for free. The admission prices for district and bi-district games are $7 for adults, $5 for students with an ASB card, and $5 for senior citizens and children.

Boys Basketball Parent Meeting
There will be a meeting for the parents of boys who plan to try out for the basketball team on Sunday, November 6th at 7:00 p.m. in the Library Commons. Try outs will be held on Monday, November 14th.

And Speaking of Basketball …
Just a friendly reminder that all athletes interested in trying out for basketball need to have a “Clearance Card” prior to starting tryouts on November 14th. If you played a fall sport, you still need a new “Clearance Card” for winter sports. Stop in and see Mr. Skeen or Mr. Blackmer to pick up your card.  If you need an athletic packet, stop by the main office and pick one up from Mrs. White. Physicals are good for 12 months.

Interested in Going on a Mission Trip?
Just a reminder that applications for all mission trips are due to the trip leader or to Mrs. White on Tuesday, November 15th!
