Career Day is February 23rd
Today in chapel we were challenged to take a closer look at how individual gifts fit into vocation. Each of us has a responsibility to use our talents well, and there are many possibilities for our students future. Next Thursday, we will be hosting Career Day. This is an opportunity to investigate career paths and interests that might match their gifting and to hear from professionals in the community. With over 25 different professionals visiting our campus this day, we are confident our students will find two that interest them. We have asked our guests to focus on the journey from high school to where they are now rather than the ins and outs of their current career. This will be a fantastic opportunity to see how others are using their gifts and careers to impact their world.

Next week, instead of Chapel, students will be dismissed from class at 9:25 to attend one session from 9:35 to 9:55 and another from 10:05 to 10:25. Look over the attached biographies and decide which two might interest you the most. Classroom assignments are still being finalized and will be sent again next Wednesday to allow you time to find your rooms. Every guest will be presenting at both sessions so the order you choose does not matter. Make certain you have a back-up in case your first choice is full. Students: It is important that you sign in at each session; this is how roll will be taken. We are looking forward to a fabulous event!
