King’s seniors Cole Cricthlow and Tayden MacDonald won awards in the Puget Sound Educational Service District Art Competition: Cole won with the WFIS in digital photography and Tayden was awarded an outstanding achievement award for the use of film. They will be honored at a reception at the Puget Sound ESD.
“These two young men have been a joy to have in class,” said their photography teacher, Gwen Gracey. “They experiment with lenses, film, light, night and street photography. They are bold in subject choices focusing on the moment and capturing emotions and stories.”
