Elementary Appreciation Week!
May 8 – 12, 2017    *   Teacher Luncheon – May 11!
King’s Elementary is NOT celebrating Appreciation Week May 1-5 due to Accreditation visits. Teachers, Principals and Office Staff Appreciation Week is May 8 – 12.  This is a time to honor teachers, principals and office staff for all they do for our children.  As a special treat, parents will be hosting a luncheon for all elementary staff on Thursday, May 11.  An email will be sent soon where you can sign up to participate if you are interested.  Your classroom leads will be contacting you regarding appreciation gifts and ideas, as well.  Thanks from your Parent Council!

SCRIP
SCRIP is transitioning away from office hours since most people are ordering online, or filling out the SCRIP TO GO form and sending it in with a check. If you don’t want to place orders online, you can print out a SCRIP TO GO form that has a few local vendors to choose from. Send the form and a check in to the SCRIP DROP BOX. We will fill the order and will send it to the office designated on your SCRIP Agreement Form. You must have a SCRIP account set up so we can get your tuition rebates and orders to the right place. The form is located at www.kingsschools.org in the parent section under SCRIP program. If you have any questions please contact [email protected].

Annual Magazine Renewal and New Subscription Event
If you would like to renew or subscribe to new magazines for the coming year, the online portal is available for your convenience. A portion of each order will go to our school and be used for curriculum enrichment at the elementary. Just go to the website for a list of selections. The website is available 365 days a year for your convenience! If you have any questions, please contact the school office and Mr. Kelly will provide assistance.

Office Communications:
When you are emailing the office, please be sure to email both Mrs. de Langen at [email protected] and Miss Soriano at [email protected]. Any change in student pick-up at the end of the day needs to go through the office. This is the only way to be sure your student gets the message. If you send an email to the teacher, he/she may not be available to respond due to teaching students. Please Call Mrs. de Langen or Miss Soriano at 206-546-7258.
