Experience King’s Fosters Community While Supporting Faculty and Families

Last Friday, King’s Elementary hosted more than 1,200 students and families at Experience King’s, an open house and auction with something fun for everyone. Music Teacher Bill Park cooked delicious BBQ hot dogs!

Sixth graders showed off great inventions and investigations in the gym, and our elementary robotics teams showcased their robots.

Students enjoyed choosing summer books and trinkets at the book fair in the library. Families toured their children’s classrooms and purchased amazing black and white photos of their students taken by Photographer Mimi Inglin.

This year’s auction included exciting items like beautiful class projects for each grade and fun teacher/student experiences, like a ferryboat trip, Nerf war, principal for the day and more! Many parents bought raffle tickets for a chance to win $1500 off next year’s tuition.

The night concluded with inspiring concerts by all grades. It was a beautiful, unforgettable event and together we raised more than $35,000 for financial aid, teacher endowment and safety preparedness upgrades. We are so thankful for our wonderful community!
