Preschool Weekly News | Oct 20

Please contact Principal Jessica Scanzon at jscanzon@kingsschools.org if you have any questions.

It has been a busy week here at the Preschool.  Our Green Room class was able to visit with some of the residents of Cristwood this week. Both the students and residents had a wonderful time, they were able to listen to stories read by some excellent story tellers. We also had some visitors from Northwest School for Deaf and Hard of Hearing. These 3 students accompanied our Red Room class for their recess time.  Our students enjoyed having new friends to interact with in new and different ways.

Classrooms are still focusing on farms and fall.  Many are learning about farm animals.  We’ve had classes creating wonderful animal projects.  We’ve even had some classes “milk” a cow!  Our older classrooms are focusing more on the harvest.  They are planting some of their own “crops” and taking their turn at being farmers.  Our teachers are always working hard to teach the students their letters and numbers.  Each classroom works hard to use various forms of learning to help each and every child in their class learn.  We look forward to next week and our wonderful reading book event with our 2nd grade reading buddies.
