King’s is the Greatest School on Earth!
As the holiday season is right around the corner, the auction team is counting our blessings and we want to thank everyone involved with King’s Schools largest fundraiser of the year – the 35th Annual Benefit Auction. Because of the amazing and generous community of families, King’s has been able to provide financial aid for students and the teacher endowment fund continues to increase and grow. We’re excited for another inspiring and fun evening celebrating King’s Schools. Mark your calendars for March 16, 2018.

There are so many ways to help …. from donating items from the Amazon or Target wish lists or your favorite local business, donating a delicious dessert or great bottle of wine to helping with big or small auction “tasks”. Find out more at Thank you for everything you do – we are truly grateful!

School News
We have had some blustery weather these past couple of days, but we keep on bustling on with all of our activities.  Our teachers have been wonderful and brave those winds for their students to get some of that fresh air during recess time.  Please continue to bring appropriate attire for our weather, as we want to continue to go outside.

This week was jam packed.  We showed our school spirit by wearing brown on Wednesday.  Our teachers looked amazing with their brown bear ears.  We all come together in chapel to hear important lessons from Mr. Hill and our Purple Room class.

On Thursday, we had a wonderful visit with our friends from Northwest School for Deaf and Hard of Hearing.  We are so thankful to partner with this school and show our students that everyone has differences but we can still be a community.

Friday, we were able to have our own “feast” with all of our Pre-K classrooms.  This is always such an amazing event.  Parents and teachers come together to help re-enforce student’s manners as well as socializing skills in a restaurant like setting.  The students are able to “order” their taco, just as they like it.  They then create conversation with their peers at the table as well as the parents, who are acting as the waiters and waitresses.

We look forward to what these followings weeks have in store, have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
