Preschool Weekly News | Dec 8

King’s Preschool: Please contact Principal Jessica Scanzon at jscanzon@kingsschools.org if you have any questions.

We have wrapped our pajama donations.  33 pajamas were donated!  We are so excited to deliver our donations to Mary’s Place!  Once again, we thank all of you for your generosity.

We have been gearing up for our Christmas program this week as well.  Our students did a dry run performance at the assisted living on campus.  All of the seniors felt so blessed to see our young ones share the story of Jesus’ birth through song.  Not to mention at the end of each performance, each classroom got a special visit from Santa!  It was a great time and each classroom did a wonderful job.

We look forward to our Christmas Celebration.  It will be held on Tuesday, December 12th.  The doors to Schirmer will open at 5pm and the Celebration will begin at 5:15pm.  We will also be live streaming the event for all those that would like to watch but are out of town.  If you have any questions about that event, please do not hesitate to ask.

We hope you had a wonderful week and we look forward to seeing you at our Christmas Celebration.

Scholastic Information – Scholastic is a wonderful program.  Not only are you providing your child with books but with every order you are helping the school.  With each order, there are a certain amount of points that each book is worth.  When you make the purchase, the school gets the points!  With those points we can buy new books for our library and classrooms.  We have been able to purchase several new books with the points we have accrued but we need your help to keep that going.  When you put in your order for books, please be sure to enter in our school code:  RR6BM

Staff Appreciation “Cookie Exchange” – Friday, December 15th, 2017
To show our appreciation for all of the wonderful teachers and staff at the preschool this Christmas Season we are hosting a Cookie Exchange for them!  Participation is voluntary!  If you would like to participate, we are asking that you bring in your favorite baked or bought holiday goodies in the morning on Friday, December 15th. You can just drop your baked goods off in the office, and we will get them all organized.  There are about 35 staff members at the preschool – so please bring at least a dozen of your favorite holiday treat. Please remember Kings is a nut free school.  If you have any questions, please email Rebecca Rossow (Rebecca.rossow@gmail.com).
