This week our students have continued to learn about the seasons.
Our Orange Room class led chapel along with Mr. Hill.
Our Pre-K classes enjoyed a music class with Mrs. Hairston and our Red Room went and visited the Grandma’s and Grandpa’s that reside in CRISTA’s Assisted Living.
Mrs. Bozick’s class learned about the season of summer. They focused on activities that we do in the summer. They have also learned some interesting facts about the sun.
Mrs. Paulus’ class is learning about snow this week! They are doing some great projects that include learning about the letter “S” as well. The class is talking about using kindness, too.
Mrs. Michelson’s class is focusing on faithfulness. They are creating a four season’s tree to help review all the seasons they have learned about. They are continuing to work on their fine motor skills with fun projects such as beading.
Ms. Baek’s class has been investigating many different aspects of the seasons. They are keeping their memories sharp by reviewing letters learned at the beginning of the year. Teachers are also helping to integrate number skills into their unit on seasons by creating fun activities.
Mrs. DeClercq’s class is focusing on the different weather patterns. They are becoming meteorologists and seeing if they are able to predict the weather.
Mrs. Lowe-Hale’s class is learning about the letter “B” and the number “15”. They are focusing on the season of fall. The class was able to create a rain gage and see how much it has rained this week.
Mrs. Green’s class has been working hard on their science fair. This is a wonderful event and each student has been preparing to give their presentation.
