Step Right Up, Get Your Tickets and Win!
In less than a month we’ll be celebrating King’s Schools and students at the 35th Annual Auction! If you buy your auction tickets today through Thursday March 8, you could win two free tickets! So, rally your friends and invite new families to join in the fun at your table. Drawing for two free tickets will happen Friday March 9! Buy your tickets at https://crista.ejoinme.org/2018KingsAuction.

There’s lots of auction activities to enjoy including two raffles, a wine grab, three silent auctions, a dessert dash and a live auction.  If you can’t attend, but still want to support the auction, our biggest need right now is collecting wine, desserts, Nordstrom and Costco gift cards! If you can help by donating any of these items we’d be SO grateful!

We’re shining the spotlight on these great items this week:

  • VIP Seafair Experience for Four
  • Suncadia Weekend Get-A-Way
  • Personal Shopping Day Extravaganza
  • Italian Townhouse in Tuscany for a Week

If your student needs service hours, the auction team can help! Just go to the Signup Genius at http://www.signupgenius.com/go/60b0b49aba92e5-kings.

Classroom Updates
Many of our classes are wrapping up their community helpers unit with special guests, talking about their jobs.  We even have some classes talking about what they would like to be when they grow up!  Not only that but we are also celebrating our love of books through Dr. Seuss.  There are some fun Seuss projects going on around the school.  We are also gearing up for our multicultural unit, where some of our classrooms will be exploring different places around the world!

Specialty Classes
Mrs. Helleren’s art class got messy while painting another amazing art project this week.  Keep on the lookout for some fun little gnomes.

Mrs. Gopen spoke on David and Goliath this week.  We learned that when you feel like you need protection, you can praise God.

Mrs. Henderson is teaching the students about fair ways to play with one another.

Mrs. Estes taught the students more about opposites such as hot and cold.
