State Champions Honored by FC Reign!
The King’s Girls Soccer Team is being honored for their 1A State Championship by the FC Reign Women’s Professional Soccer Team during halftime at their home opener on Saturday, March 24th! Knight of the Arts
A night of Music, Improv and Dessert is planned for tomorrow night, Saturday, March 17th. Living Faith and KHS Live will be performing at their best. Tickets are available on-line for $10 each at brownpapertickets.com and seating is first come, first served. Special desserts and savories will be available and all proceeds go towards the Living Faith and KHS Live Spring Mission Trips.
Spring Music Concert
A free concert, featuring Living Faith and our Chamber Orchestra, is planned for Tuesday night, March 20th. The concert will be held at the Cristwood Park Activity Center on the CRISTA campus (345 N. 190th Street) at 7:00 p.m. You are invited to come and enjoy praise songs and classical music performed by our students directed by Lynn Hall and Eun Cho. We would love to see you there!
SAT and ACT Test Prep
There are a variety of opportunities to prepare for the SAT and ACT coming up this spring. King’s will offer a free Kaplan SAT Practice test on April 25th from 1:00 to 4:30 p.m. You can register for the test online. Edmonds Woodway High School will also offer SAT and ACT test prep courses April 21st to May 20th. The courses are taught by Princeton Review Instructors and consist of six 2½ hour classes, 3 practice tests and online access to course material. All practice tests and classes will be held at EWHS. Cost of each course is $450. Deadline to register is March 23rd. Sign up for the courses online. Looking for a Summer Job?
King’s Kids Club is looking for group leaders for their summer program at the elementary school! Summerbreak runs from June 18th through August 24th and these jobs will be full time during the ten week program. Applicants must be at least 16 years of age. Father Daughter Dance
King’s High School will be holding its bi-annual Father-Daughter Dance at the Seattle Golf Club on Saturday, April 28th at 6:30 p.m. Girls, invite your father (or grandfather, uncle, another father-figure in your life) for an evening of dinner, entertainment, dessert and dancing.
