Classroom Updates
This week wrapped up our travels around the world.  Each class visited so many different places, it was wonderful to see so many special guests in the classrooms.  We also had a wonderful time with our 2nd grade reading buddies this week.  It is always a joy to interact with schools, as well as all of the ministries that we have on our CRISTA campus.  Many classes are also focusing on the Easter story.  We hope you all have a wonderful Easter break.  Please refer to our upcoming dates for our closures.

Specialty Classes
Mrs. Gopen’s Bible class created a special egg to help each student re-tell the Easter story.  They learned about Jesus dying on the cross because He loves us!

Mrs. Henderson’s class learned about how we can calm our bodies and identify why we might be having strong emotions.  Our puppet friends Davy and Matilda helped to demonstrate how we can calm our bodies and solve the problem.

Mrs. Estes’ class learned how to say the shapes in Spanish.  They also played a very entertaining game to help them practice the new words they had learned.

Mrs. Helleren’s class traveled to South America this week.  They created some Mola art.
