It has been a calm week at the Preschool. We are loving the sunshine and many of our classes are trying to get outdoors as often as they can to soak up the wonderful weather. Many of our classrooms are learning about ocean animals this week. They are diving right in and learning about all kinds of sea life. Our classrooms are also learning about our letters that “slide”. Many of them are working on the letters, “W” and “X”. We cannot believe it will be May next week. We are looking forward to more of this beautiful weather and all the things we have in store for the coming month.
Mrs. Gopen talked about how important it is to pray regularly. She spoke on the story of Daniel and how he prayed during difficult times.
Mrs. Henderson talked about gun safety as well as poison safety this week. She taught each class about the “Always Ask First Rule”.
Mrs. Estes’ Spanish class learned the names for animals. She spoke about Noah’s ark and all the different animals.
Mrs. Helleren’s class is continuing to work on their globes. She also started to talk about Mother’s day and how we can show appreciation to those we love.
Congratulations to our King’s Robotics Team for coming in 2nd in the World Robotics Championships! We are so proud of our Knights. We attended a parade in their honor. Our Preschool classrooms made signs and pompoms to cheer them on. GREAT JOB KING’S KNIGHTS!
