Classroom Updates
This month our classes are focusing on things that go and health.  The students have been enjoying learning all about their bodies.  Many of the classes have also found some interesting ways to create art with things that go.

Our Pre-K classes have started practicing for graduation, which will be held on Wednesday June 13th at 9:00am.  We are so proud of all of our students.

Specialty Classes
Mrs. Gopen taught students to focus on God rather than our own problems.  She talked about the story of Paul & Silas who praised God even when they were in jail.

Mrs. Henderson worked with the students on thinking of many solutions to a problem and deciding which one would be the best.  She then implemented this idea into a game, helping the students to fully understand this concept.

Mrs. Estes’ class heard the story of Little Red Riding Hood.  They learned some new verbs to use in dramatic play.

Mrs. Helleren will be wrapping up her art class this week.  Each class is finishing projects and reviewing concepts that they learned over the year.

* Sunscreen – The sun has made an appearance!  Sunscreen forms are available on the wall across from the kiosk.  You have the option of bringing your own sunscreen or using the school provided sunscreen.  Please remember to apply sunscreen in the morning before dropping your child off at school.  We will apply sunscreen on those that have a signed permission slip after 2:00 p.m.

*Hydration Reminder – Please remember to encourage your child to drink water at school and at home.  We have had a couple of very warm days and we want to keep everyone hydrated.  We are taking extra water breaks here at the school as well.

* Please remember we are a NUT FREE FACILITY.  – No nuts of any kind including peanut butter.
