Classroom Updates

It has been a whirlwind of a week.  Our Pre-K classes had an exciting week with their last music class and their graduation on Wednesday.  All of our Pre-K classes did an excellent job with their performances.  We are so proud of each and every one of our students.  They have all worked very hard and are excited to start Kindergarten.

We are wrapping up our lessons on letters and numbers and starting our review.  Our students are excited to finish out this month and then we will gear up for our phenomenal summer program.

Specialty Classes

Mrs. Gopen taught students about the armor of God this week.

Mrs. Henderson worked with the students on how we can play fair.  She talked about how when we play fair, everyone has a good time.

Mrs. Estes’ class heard the story of Go Dog Go.  They learned some prepositions this week.

  • Sunscreen – The sun has made an appearance!  Sunscreen forms are available on the wall across from the kiosk.  You have the option of bringing your own sunscreen or using the school provided sunscreen.  Please remember to apply sunscreen in the morning before dropping your child off at school.  We will apply sunscreen on those that have a signed permission slip after 2:00 p.m.
  • Hydration Reminder – Please remember to encourage your child to drink water at school and at home.  We have had a couple of very warm days and we want to keep everyone hydrated.  We are taking extra water breaks here at the school as well.
  • Please remember we are a NUT FREE FACILITY.  No nuts of any kind including peanut butter.
