Spirit Week!!!

Next week is Spirit Week at the junior high.  Students are encouraged to dress up each day according to the different themes, and to sign up to participate in lunch time activities.
Each grade and each gender will earn points by dressing up and participating in spirit cup activities and at the end of the week the Spirit Cup will be presented to the winners!

Dress Up Schedule:

Oct 29: Pajama Day
Oct 30: U.S.A Day
Oct 31: Western Day
Nov 1: Color Day
Nov 2: Sports Day

Spirit Cup Activities:

Oct 29: Teacher Scavenger Hunt
Oct 30: Candy Corn Catch
Oct 31: Pumpkin Chuck
Nov 1: Apple Bob
Nov 2: Greased Pumpkin Toss

Monday, Nov. 12 – 2nd quarter begins

Math Club

The National Honor Society will be hosting a free weekly “Math Club” in the Learning Commons at the high school.  Top math students at King’s will be available to support any students who want to drop in for free math help.  We can help students with math questions at all levels, from 7th grade math to Calculus!  Students can also drop by if they want to work on their math homework in a collaborative, group environment.  Free of charge, Wednesdays from 3-4:30pm.
