King’s Holiday Show

The  King’s Holiday Show is coming to the King’s Garden Gym on Friday, November 30th! The event will be showcasing over 50 booths including puppies, Glassy Baby, Fork and Fin, Aloha Lemonade, Red Twig and many more!. These booths will offer many treats and stocking stuffers as well as unique presents for everyone on your list.

Drop-Off:  N. Carpool Lot 1-6

It has been brought to our attention that cars are driving rather fast during morning drop-off in the lane to access the diagonal parking area.  Thank you for driving S-L-O-W-L-Y in the carpool lot.

Lost and Found

All lost and found will be out on tables in the south breezeway November 30 –  December 19.  Items left after that date will be donated to charity.

Fourth Grade Marketplace

Marketplace money is available for purchase in 3-6 grade classrooms or in the office.  Marketplace will be held on Friday, December 7 and Friday, December 14 from 1:00-2:15pm in the Elementary cafeteria/gym.  All 3-6 graders will be attending!

Office Communications UPDATE

Mrs. Holly von Seggern our new Administrative Assistant in the office started on Monday.  When you are emailing the office, please be sure to email both Mrs. de Langen at [email protected] and Mrs. von Seggern at [email protected].

Any change in student pick-up at the end of the day needs to go through the office.  This is

the only way to be sure your student gets the message.  If you send an email to the teacher, he/she may not be available to respond due to teaching students.  Please call Mrs. de Langen or Mrs. von Seggern at 206-546-7258.

Parents are Welcome to attend KIDS Praise!

Parents are always welcome to attend KIDS Praise on Friday mornings!  We would love to have you join us as we build community. Check the monthly Parent Calendar for schedule.

Parent Prayer Opportunity – Wednesdays from 8:30-9:30am

We need your help to lift up King’s Schools in Prayer! Parent volunteers needed to gather weekly to pray over our King’s community of students, parents, and teachers as well as CRISTA campus and our local community.  Prayer requests can be sent directly to Danelle at 206-799-6279 via phone call or text or email [email protected].  All requests are kept confidential within the prayer group.  Meet in the Elementary Library after signing in at the office.

Annual Magazine Renewal and New Subscription Event

If you would like to renew or subscribe to new magazines for the coming year, we are once again offering an online portal for your convenience. A portion of each order will go to our school and be used for curriculum enrichment at the elementary. Medication at School

During the course of the school year, your child may need to take medication at school. A “Permission to Administer Medication Form” must be completed with a physician and parent signature. All medications, OVER-THE-COUNTER and PRESCRIPTION, require a completed form and must be in their original containers. Prescription medications, including inhalers must have a prescription label. Please label OVER-THE-COUNTER medications with your student’s first and last name. Forms are available in school office or on Parents Web.

King’s Kids Club

King’s Kids Club (KKC) is in full swing! Before school care is from 7:00 a.m. – 8:05 a.m. and after school care is from the end of the school day to 6:00 p.m.  KKC follows the school calendar.  All students are enrolled in King’s Kids Club at the hourly rate. Carpool students not picked up by 3:00 p.m. will be signed into KKC.  Contact Kim Gillies with questions at [email protected].

Menchie’s Fundraiser

The KHS Junior Class Council invites you to kick off your holiday with a trip to Menchie’s!

When: December 7th, 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM
Where: Menchie’s (Gateway), 18336 Aurora Ave N. (in the same complex as Bartell’s and Starbucks)
What: Bring in the attached flier (either a hard copy or a picture of the attachment) and 20% of all sales will benefit the Junior Class Council, proceeds will towards funding school activities planned by the Junior Council this school year
