Fourth Grade Marketplace – LAST CHANCE – December 14
Fourth Grade Marketplace will be in the King’s Elementary gym/cafeteria from 1:00-2:15pm. Students have created amazing items to sell! Do your Christmas shopping early! All proceeds go to King’s Elementary mission projects.
THANK YOU, Mrs. Ariadne!
Thank you for the incredible Christmas concerts. The Christmas Star and O Come Little Children honored and glorified our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Our lives are blessed because of you! Thank you for this amazing Christmas present!
Lost and Found
All lost and found will be out on tables in the south breezeway through December 19. Items left after that date will be donated to charity.
Drop-Off: N. Carpool Lot 1-6
It has been brought to our attention that cars are driving rather fast during morning drop-off in the lane to access the diagonal parking area. Thank you for driving S-L-O-W-L-Y in the carpool lot.
Office Communications UPDATE
Any change in student pick-up at the end of the day needs to go through the office. This is
the only way to be sure your student gets the message. Please call Mrs. de Langen or Mrs. von Seggern at 206-546-7258.
Parent Prayer Opportunity – Wednesdays from 8:30-9:30am
We need your help to lift up King’s Schools in Prayer! Parent volunteers needed to gather weekly to pray over our King’s community of students, parents, and teachers as well as CRISTA campus and our local community. Prayer requests can be sent directly to Danelle at 206-799-6279 via phone call or text or email firstname.lastname@example.org. All requests are kept confidential within the prayer group. Meet in the Elementary Library after signing in at the office.
Annual Magazine Renewal and New Subscription Event
If you would like to renew or subscribe to new magazines for the coming year, we are once again offering an online portal for your convenience. A portion of each order will go to our school and be used for curriculum enrichment at the elementary. Just go to the website below for a list of selections. The website is available 365 days a year for your convenience!
Special Note: When you arrive at the website it will ask you to enter your email and student’s name. Since we are not participating in any goal setting or prizes this year, go straight to the Skip This Step button. Thank you!
Medication at School
During the course of the school year, your child may need to take medication at school. A “Permission to Administer Medication Form” must be completed with a physician and parent signature. All medications, OVER-THE-COUNTER and PRESCRIPTION, require a completed form and must be in their original containers. Prescription medications, including inhalers must have a prescription label. Please label OVER-THE-COUNTER medications with your student’s first and last name. Forms are available in school office or on Parents Web.
King’s Kids Club
King’s Kids Club (KKC) is in full swing! Before school care is from 7:00 a.m. – 8:05 a.m. and after school care is from the end of the school day to 6:00 p.m. KKC follows the school calendar. All students are enrolled in King’s Kids Club at the hourly rate. Carpool students not picked up by 3:00 p.m. will be signed into KKC. Contact Kim Gillies with questions at email@example.com.
At this busy time of year, it can seem like your to-do list just keeps getting longer and more complicated…if you have “donate item for the King’s Auction” on your list, we have tried to make it as easy as possible! Just click this link for the Amazon wishlist and select an item to donate – it will be shipped directly to the school, so it’s an easy one to cross off your list! The 36th annual Benefit Auction is on Friday March 15 and it truly takes our whole King’s village to make this spectacular event come together. We so appreciate every family’s efforts in contributing and thank you for thinking of this during your holiday shopping!
