La Casa Mission Project

Our King’s Elementary 2019 La Casa Mission Project occurs during Spring vacation (April 1-5) in the suburbs of Tijuana, Mexico.

King’s Elementary has been sending teams of teachers, students and their parents to build houses for needy Mexican Families for 23 years.  To date King’s Elementary families have built 37 structures through our partnership with Baja Christian Ministries.  This incredible family opportunity is a unique and life changing experience!  More information coming!

Parking Reminder

Reminder to parents to NOT park in any of the staff lots across the street near the Art/Spanish classrooms.

CRISTA PRAYER WEEK  –  Draw Near to God

CRISTA Ministries has set aside February 4-8 as a special week to focus on prayer.  Each campus will have several activities throughout the week, including a King’s Schools Prayer Walk on Tuesday, February 5 from 3:15-4:15pm.  Parents and students are welcome to join King’s faculty and CRISTA employees.  We will meet at the Prayer Clock by the high school   at 3:15pm.

Kindergarten Drop-Off

Just a few reminders about Kindergarten Carpool Drop-Off:

  • Please remember to only drop off at the far south end of the parking lot, where there is supervision available to assist with unloading!
  • When students walk in between the cars it is unsafe.  It makes it difficult for other cars to see the students.
  • Please pull forward as directed by the supervisors.  This will allow more cars into the lot and off of the street.
  • Remember to turn RIGHT out of the lot and make another RIGHT onto North 195th.   When you choose to turn left at the stop sign, it causes congestion in the lot and on the street.

Thank you for partnering with us to make the morning routine safe for all of the students!

Vacations During School

King’s Elementary asks that you carefully consider not taking vacations during academic teaching time but instead plan your trips as much as possible during regularly scheduled breaks on the school calendar.
