King’s Elementary Welcomes MeySen Students from Japan

For the past eight years, King’s Elementary and MeySen Academy have given students the opportunity to participate in cross-cultural experiences and friendships. Earlier this week, MeySen Academy students from Sendai, Japan flew in to visit our elementary students.

Beginning in Kindergarten, MeySen students are involved in an English Immersion program where they learn about American culture and the United States. This past week at King’s has given these students the opportunity to experience American family life and an amazing King’s experience! The MeySen students were also able to tour our beautiful campus, meet CRISTA CEO, Jacinta Tegman and Head of School, Eric Rasmussen.

Thank you to our King’s Elementary Host Families: Begis, Belden, Brown, Carlson, Chaplin, Christopherson, Cordova, Decker, Denton, Dunphy, Gary, Gleeson, Gough, Haase, Hurtado, Maya, McRae, Mouttet, Naing/Pierce, O’Neal, Pidduck, Ruhlman, Smith, Spencer, Wattum, Wilkinson and Wilson.

We pray that each new friendship between the MeySen students and King’s families will last many years into the future!
