This week we took our classroom pictures with the wonderful photographers from KID’S Photography.  All of the classrooms did a great job and loved having a fun guest in their classrooms.

Our theme for the classrooms this month is animals and spring.  Many classrooms are talking about animals and what their habitats are and the food they eat.

On Wednesday, Green room led a wonderful chapel time where we talked about the Fruit of the Spirit focusing on gentleness.  The students met Mr. Bananas and had a wonderful time with praise and worship.

*Reminders

*Prek Families, please sign the permission slip for your child to go on our field trip in May.  The folder is located next to the sign in sheet.  If you would like to volunteer on our field trip, we have packets available for you to fill out.

*Purple Room Families, your permission slips are in a folder with Mrs. Lee.  She will be connecting with you to get those filled out.

Volunteer Information

Our prek classes have one last field trip in May.  If you would like to attend you will need a completed background check.  Please see the following steps.

  1. Pop into the office and ask for volunteer paperwork                                                                   
  2. Fill out the packet and follow the attached instructions                                                                                                  
  3. The instructions will help you create a MERIT profile and you will need to a Portable Background Check, the cost for this is $12.                   
  4. When I have received your volunteer paperwork, I will e-mail you instructions on how to link to King’s Preschool                                                                                            
  5. Once your Portable Background Check has been submitted, MERIT will contact you via e-mail to set up an appointment for finger prints.  The cost for finger prints will be around $45.
  6. Keep your eye out for any e-mail from the office or MERIT regarding your volunteer status      *If you would like to volunteer in a classroom you will need a TB test as well
