Elementary Appreciation Week!
May 6 – 10, 2019 Faculty and Staff Luncheon – Wednesday, May 8!
This is a time to honor teachers, principals and office staff for all they do for our children. As a special treat, parents will be hosting a luncheon for all elementary staff on Wednesday,
May 8. An email will be sent soon where you can sign up to participate if you are interested. Your classroom leads will be contacting you regarding appreciation gifts and ideas, as well. Thank you from your Parent Council!
Class Placement Policy 2019 – 2020
We are actively planning for the 2019 – 2020 school year and your child will soon be promoted to the next grade! Your child’s current classroom teacher places your child with a teacher for 2019 – 2020. There is an extensive process that goes into creating a well-balanced class. Students are placed with teachers in the best educational setting for the students. Tentative class lists are compiled the middle of May and are then reviewed by the principals.
Class lists are confidential. Please do not put teachers in an awkward position by requesting personal information concerning other teachers, students and/or requesting the “inside track” on your child’s placement. This is unfair and unacceptable at King’s Elementary School.

Educational Special Need Students
For students with documented educational special needs, parents may email, call or request an appointment with Mrs. Huling at [email protected] if you have concerns. The principal will discuss these needs with the teacher when class lists are compiled. The deadline to submit parent letters is Wednesday, May 15, 2019.
Experience King’s Open House

Enjoy a BBQ Hot Dog for dinner on the playground and then go see and hear all about what your children are learning at school. All K-6 grade parents, grandparents, and friends are invited to this awesome celebration! Visit classrooms, eat dinner, choirs, YETI projects, Robotics, and Book Fair! All classrooms are open and much, much more!

Lost and Found!
