Washington D.C. Trip next spring

7th grade students should have received a registration packet for next year’s Washington D.C. trip which takes place over spring break.  There is a $150.00 trip discount for students registered before June 3, 2019.   If you did not receive this information, there are more packets in the office.  Please contact Ms. Kemper ([email protected]) with any questions.

Next Year’s Armor Council & Chapel Team

There are applications in the office for any 7th grade student who would like to apply for next year’s Armor Council or Chapel Team.  These are both great opportunities for 8th grade students to be involved in leadership next year at the jr.high.  Completed applications are due June 7.

Our JHPC Meet & Greets have been great opportunities for you to meet and fellowship with other Jr. High parents and engage JHPC with any questions, suggestions and/or concerns that might have arisen during the school year. By featuring a different KJH special guest speaker for each quarterly meeting, we’ve been able to learn more about a few of the remarkable individuals who lead our middle schoolers during the week; but for our final Meet & Greet, we’d really love our special featured guest to be YOU! Please plan to attend, and let us know how everything went! In addition, for our final Meet & Greet this year we are also inviting our King’s Elementary 6th Grade parents to attend so that they can have an opportunity to engage you, our current Jr. High parents, to get a feel for what your experience with King’s Jr. High has been like and what they have to look forward to. If you’re an 8th grade family moving on to High School, congratulations! We do hope, however, that you’ll still plan to join us so that we can say a proper thank you, and give us one last chance to hear what you have to say!
