New Parent Welcome – TONIGHT!

This event is for all new families to King’s Schools.  Please join us in the High School Commons for hors d‘oeuvres and beverages at 7:00 pm.  This is a great opportunity to meet and connect with other parents.

Join the Team!

We are looking for additional Playground Supervisors! Do you love children?  Do you enjoy playing games?  We have a job opportunity for you!  The schedule is M-F, approximately 5 ½ hours per day from 9:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.  The pay is $12 per hour but the experience is priceless!!  Call the office at 206-546-7260 or email at [email protected].

Tardies and Carpool

  • Students who arrive after 8:15 a.m. will be marked tardy. They may still report to the classroom until 8:25 a.m.  Arrivals after 8:25 a.m. should report to the office for a late slip and lunch count.

  • Please remember that the Pre-K and Kindergarten carpool drop-off lot is for families that have students who are in these grade levels.  We have seen a few families from grades 1-6 dropping off in the south lot.  Please wait for carpool supervisors to unload your students – we want to make sure all students are safe – there are big cars that cannot always see little bodies. Please read and review the carpool procedures.  They are designed to ensure the safety of your children.

Office Communications

When you are emailing the office, please be sure to email Mrs. de Langen at [email protected] and Mrs. von Seggern at [email protected] Any change in student pick-up at the end of the day needs to go through the office.  This is the only way to be sure your student gets the message.  If you send an email to the teacher, he/she may not be available to respond due to teaching students.  Please call the office at 206-546-7258 with any questions.

Parent Post!

Be sure to read the Parent Post encompassing all of King’s Schools.  You will receive the email from [email protected] starting next Friday, September 13. This is a “no-reply” email. Please direct any questions to the school offices. Information on all of King’s Schools will be included, as well as links to information on our individual schools. Click on King’s Elementary to access our information each week!
