Parent Prayer Opportunity – Wednesdays, beginning October 2nd at 8:15 am.  We are excited to begin this year’s Parent Prayer Group!

We want your help lifting up King’s Schools in Prayer! Parent volunteers are needed to gather weekly to pray over our King’s community of students, parents, and teachers as well as CRISTA campus and our local community.  Mrs. Susanna Hoke, Student Ministries Coordinator at Kings Elementary, will lead this year’s prayer group.  Come meet Susanna and then pray.  Prayer requests can be sent directly to Susanna at [email protected].  All requests are kept confidential within the prayer group.  Meet in the Intermediate Building after signing in at the office.

Fall Enrichment Classes

There are still openings left in all enrichment classes. Sign up today! Classes start next week. Registration closes next week, Thursday, October 3rd. There are no discounts for late registrations.  See attached flyer for list the list of classes.

Serve Day

Our intermediate classes served our community in a variety of ways on Wednesday, September 25 (see attached pictures).  The 4th graders beautified the elementary campus.  The 5th graders read with our first-grade classes.  And, the 6th-grade classes filled blessing bags for people in need.  We are proud of our students and their desire to give of themselves to others!

On Wednesday, September 25, our students joined students from around the world, at the flagpole, to pray for their school.  Please see the attached pictures.

Safety Patrol Leadership Positions

The Safety Patrol Team started this week and will be on duty each morning from 7:55 a.m. – 8:15 a.m. and in the afternoon from 2:40 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. The 4th – 6th-grade students will share the responsibilities on a rotating schedule. We are excited to offer this opportunity to our students as a valuable leadership experience! Please see the attached flyer for more information. Team Players Mode – Taproot Theatre

Taproot Theatre performed at Kings Elementary on Tuesday, September 24.  They anti-bullying drama, Team Players Mode, for K-3 grade students was amazing.  The drama reinforced the 3 R’s – Recognize, Report and Refuse Bullying Behavior.
