Get your tickets to Disney’s High School Musical, Jr.!
The Advanced Drama class will be performing Disney’s High School Musical, Jr. on February 27, at 3:30 p.m. and February 28 & 29 at 7:00 p.m. Tickets go on sale at Brown Paper Tickets on Monday, February 10. Tickets are $8.00 and $10.00 and can be purchased starting Monday, February 10 here.

Dust off your fanciest hat, practice your bow tie skills and get your auction ticket now for the King’s 37th Annual Benefit Auction, A Knight at the Races! Gallop to the Lynnwood Convention Center on March 13th for this wonderful community event. Get your tickets here!

Host a MeySen Academy Student: March 24 – 27, 2020
Each year King’s Elementary 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students have the opportunity to host MeySen Academy elementary students from Japan! These Japanese students have been in an English Immersion Program where they have learned all about American culture and the US. They are now ready to experience American family life!

Family Glow Night!
Come join us for fun night of dancing, games, photo booth and more on Friday, February 21! The dance will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the King’s Garden Gym. There will be pizza by the slice, water, Gatorade and small candy for sale – cash or check only. All the proceeds will benefit La Casa Mission Trip. This is going to be GLOW much fun! Employment Opportunity
Looking for a job that has the same hours as your kids? Chartwells (which runs the foodservice programs at King’s Schools) is looking to hire energetic, helpful self-directed people to help us prepare, cook and serve wonderful food to our students. No previous experience is needed.
Hours are flexible, but roughly from 8 am to 2:30 pm Monday – Friday. No nights or weekends! We provide lunch every day. Pay is $14-15 per hour DOE.

Our top student spellers, in Grades 4-6, will participate in the school Spelling Bee on February 12 in the Cafeteria/Gym at 1:15 pm. Please see attached Spelling Bee list.
LA CASA Mission Project
Laps for La Casa is our new interactive fundraising opportunity for King’s Elementary School. Details and dates will be communicated soon explaining how your K-6 students can be actively involved in raising money to partner with a family to build a home in Mexico.
Parent Prayer Opportunity – Wednesdays from 8:15 – 9:30 a.m. We need your help to lift King’s Schools in Prayer! Parent volunteers needed to gather weekly to pray over our King’s community of students, parents, and teachers as well as CRISTA campus and our local community.
