This meeting is designed to answer many of your questions regarding the transition to high school and preregistering for classes.

Collecting Used Sports Equipment

There is a high school mission’s group going to Kenya over spring break, and they would like to take sports equipment with them to give children in Kenya.  There is a donation bin outside the junior high office for donations of any gently used sports equipment (baseball mitts, basketballs, volleyballs, cleats, jump ropes, frisbees, etc.)  Thank you.

Sailing Club

KHS Sailing Club is looking for anyone who loves the water and would be interested in sailing competitively.  Practices start the first week of March and go throughout the spring. Practices are at Sail Sand Point on Wednesdays from 3:00-6:00 PM and at Corinthian Yacht Club on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00-7:00. Racing is on the weekends and carpools are available. This program is flexible, there are scholarships available, and there are amazing coaches with lots of experience. No real commitment is needed- just come out to try it! No experience necessary!  If interested contact: Isabelle McNabb at IsabelleMcnabb@kingsstudent.org.
