Laps for La Casa – Wednesday, March 11, 2020
Our fundraising for our annual La Casa Mission Trip has begun! Every year, we send a few King’s Elementary families to Tijuana to partner with a Mexican family to build them a house. Our whole school works together to raise the funds to purchase the building materials and finishing touches, plus provide materials for VBS in the surrounding neighborhoods. This year we are trying something new and are hosting a Laps for La Casa jog-a-thon on March 11th. Our students have a school-wide goal of running 1,000 miles, which represents the miles from King’s Elementary to Tijuana, Mexico! Throughout the next few weeks, students are looking for friends and family to become sponsors in this awesome event! Our goal is to raise $25,000! There are 3 easy ways to help make our fundraising a success:

A special thank you to Lanna Begis and Tessa Chaplin for an incredible Family Glow Night! There were over 400 people in attendance, and they raised over $3,000 for our La Casa Mission Project!
