King’s Pre-Registration

Information regarding class pre-registration for the 2020-2021 school year began early this week! An email was sent out to all families that included an instructional video, a description of course offerings and pre-requisites, and a link to necessary forms.  Pre-registration forms will be turned in via the students counseling page in Teams as an assignment by April 27th at 3pm.

If you have not received that email, please reach out to Jin You at jyou@kingsschools.org.

The counselors have made themselves available via teams or email to answer any question you or your students may have, and meetings will be available through TEAMS after the school day from 2:45-3:15pm the next several weeks.

A huge thank you to our counselors for work and dedication into our pre-registration process!

CyberKnights Fundraiser

The King’s High School Robotics Team, the CyberKnights, are participating in a fundraiser with other local FIRST Robotics teams to raise money for Food Lifeline. Food Lifeline is non-profit based in Seattle and a member of Feeding America. They have had to cancel all volunteer programs due to COVID-19 and one of their biggest problems is sourcing volumes of certain products during these difficult times. Our goal is to raise $5,000 to help them with this sourcing. Currently, we are about one-fifth of the way there. If you would like to donate, please use this link: https://tinyurl.com/r63jt82.

Your donations would be greatly appreciated. If you have any questions please email Reagan Christensen at christensen.reagan@gmail.com.

Teacher Appreciation

Teachers Appreciation Week is coming up in a few weeks! The Parent Council are putting together a little care package to honor and thank our faculty and staff who have been tirelessly working hard to make the rest of this school years’ experience just as fabulous. We would like to support them as if we are on campus. As a community of being in this together, we are requesting a few words of encouragement from the students and/or the family, there are no minimums, as much as you would like to send or provide. Here are some options on how you could send those:

  1. Carmina will be at the school on the Ave on Monday, April 27th anytime from 3:30-5:00pm for drop off. Practicing social distancing, there will be a box by the clock and Carmina will remain in the car.
  2. Email Carmina your words of appreciation at inapochola@gmail.com and those will get printed and added to the care package. Please add on the subject line “King’s HS Teacher Appreciation”
  3. Email a 10-15 second video of your family sending your appreciation to Winnah@akindheartinc.com. Please add on the subject line “King’s HS Teacher Appreciation”

Blessings to you and your families, remember… God’s not surprised by all of this and we just need to continue to stay steadfast in Him!
