School Pictures
Next week on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, our junior high students will be having their pictures taken.  We aren’t sure if we will be able to get all of the 7th graders or all of the 8th graders in on Monday and Tuesday, so they may not have their picture taken until Thursday or Friday when they are on campus next.  Attached is ordering information as well as this link:   https://rowlandstudio.simplephoto.com/prepay/41673992?code=KS20

Fully remote students are encouraged to email me a head shot (front view with head and shoulders) and we will make sure it is included in the yearbook.  Our yearbook staff will Photoshop these photos onto a background that will match the other pictures.  Please email these to [email protected] by September 25.

Lunch at King’s Junior High
During on-campus school days, students can purchase foods through our dining services.  King’s partners with Chartwells K12 to provide high-quality, nutritious offerings for our campus.  As a leading food service management and hospitality company, we can expect top food safety standards and practices in our kitchens.

Orders are placed each day by students through their individual Microsoft Teams student login for delivery to classrooms for lunch.  Lunchtime will not be in the cafeteria space this year but instead students will eat in their 2nd Block classroom where our COVID-19 health measures can be well maintained (hand washing, small groups, physical distancing, etc).  For the 2020-21 school year, all cafeteria purchases will be made on student food service accounts – there are no daily cash purchases at this time.

ClearPass reminders
Please note these checkpoints below when completing the ClearPass check for your student each day:

  1. STAY HOME if you get a red ClearPass and please also keep SIBLINGS HOME.
  2. Call the junior high office (206-546-7243) and check in.
  3. Await further instructions from COVID 19 supervisor, Lindsey Sharp, on next steps.  If you are RED and your child has symptoms, you will be receiving a phone call.
