 Service Day TODAY!

Who is your neighbor?

Our first ever King’s Remote Service Day is today!  During our four Remote Service Days this year, our students will be taking part in various service opportunities.  A “Who is your neighbor?” Choice Board was sent home on October 15 and 16 with lots of ideas for elementary students to begin to plan how they will make a difference for others in the name of Jesus.  If students have another service idea, there are blank spots on the choice board for them to write in their creative idea.  We want all our students to realize that “Every Little Gift Matters.”

Remote Service Days: TODAY, January 25, January 26, May 7

Parent Council THANK YOU!

Every elementary student had the opportunity to visit our King’s Pumpkin Patch this week!  What an exciting and fun event!  Thank you, Parent Council, for your creativity and hard work.  Students enjoyed pumpkin seed catapults, a giant pumpkin catapult, apple juice, and popcorn!  You are amazing!

Thank you for bringing the most delicious treats for faculty and staff!  We are grateful for your generosity and thoughtfulness.

 Student Mask Protocols

Please be sure to check the fit of the face-covering/mask your child is wearing to school.  Masks that hang below the nose or are loose do not meet the guidelines.

Masks need to:

  • Cover nose and mouth and under the chin
  • Fit snuggly against the sides of the face

Please be sure to have extra masks in your student’s backpack for backup.  Thank you!

Parents: Follow Protocols Please!

  • Please follow protocols for early dismissal, appointments, or picking up work due to absences at the office. When you are in the parking lot call the office.  Remain in your car.  We will walk your child and/or books and work out to you.  Thank you!
  • After-school pick-up – please do not park your cars and walk to pick up your students. We need you to follow protocol and go through carpool to pick up your child.  Carpool has been finishing by 2:50 pm.

 Playground Supervisor Needed!

We are still looking for one additional Playground Supervisor.  The schedule is M, T, Th, F from 9:00 am-2:30 pm.  The pay is $13.50 per hour but the experience is priceless!  Call the office at 206-546-7260 or email [email protected].

School Spirit Days

Mondays and Fridays are school spirit days whether students are on campus or remote!  Wear your school colors – red & white and celebrate our school!   Classes within their grade levels may compete to see who has the most school spirit!

 Office Communications

When you are emailing the office, please be sure to email Mrs. de Langen at [email protected] and Mrs. Kim Gillies at [email protected].

Any change in student pick-up at the end of the day needs to go through the office.  This is the only way to be sure your student gets the message.  Please call the office at  206-546-7258 by 2:00 pm.

King’s Kids Club

King’s Kids Club (KKC) is in full swing! Before school care is from 7:30 a.m. – 8:15 a.m. and after school care is from the end of the school day to 6:00 p.m.  Space is limited.  KKC follows the school calendar.  Contact Kim Gillies with questions at [email protected].

 KIDS Praise!

KIDS Praise is on Wednesdays at 8:45 am!  Join your son or daughter virtually for KIDS Praise led by our Student Ministries Coordinator, Mrs. Hoke.

 Medication at School

During the course of the school year, your child may need to take medication at school. A “Permission to Administer Medication Form” must be completed with a physician and parent signature. All medications, OVER-THE-COUNTER and PRESCRIPTION, require a completed form and must be in their original containers. Prescription medications, including inhalers, must have a prescription label. Please label OVER-THE-COUNTER medications with your student’s first and last name. Forms are available in the school office or on Parents Web.
