The Blessing – King’s Elementary Video Project – Last Day!

All Elementary students are invited to participate and submit a video.  The deadline is tomorrow, October 31, 2020.  Please see the attachment for all the details.

Mask Protocols

Please be sure to check the fit of the face-covering/mask your child is wearing to school.  Students are coming to the office for replacement masks during the school day.  Please remember to pack extra masks in your child’s backpack for emergencies.  Thank you!

Parents:  Follow Procedures Please!

  • Please follow protocols for early dismissal, appointments, or picking up work due to absences at the office. When you are in the parking lot call the office.  Remain in your car.  We will walk your child and/or books and work out to you.  Thank you!
  • After-school pick-up – please do not park your cars and walk to pick up your students. We need you to follow protocol and go through carpool to pick up your child.  Carpools have been finishing by 2:50 pm.

 Playground Supervisor Needed!

We are still looking for one additional Playground Supervisor.  The schedule is M, T, Th, F from 9:00 am-2:30 pm.  The pay is $13.50 per hour but the experience is priceless!  Call the office at 206-546-7260 or email [email protected].

School Spirit Days

Mondays and Fridays are school spirit days whether students are on campus or remote!  Wear your school colors – red & white and celebrate our school!   Classes within their grade levels may compete to see who has the most school spirit!

Office Communications

When you are emailing the office, please be sure to email Mrs. de Langen at [email protected] and Mrs. Kim Gillies at [email protected].

Any change in student pick-up at the end of the day needs to go through the office.  This is the only way to be sure your student gets the message.  Please call the office at  206-546-7258 by 2:00 pm.

King’s Kids Club

King’s Kids Club (KKC) is in full swing! Before school care is from 7:30 a.m. – 8:15 a.m. and after school care is from the end of the school day to 6:00 p.m.  Space is limited.  KKC follows the school calendar.  Contact Kim Gillies with questions at [email protected].

 KIDS Praise!

KIDS Praise is on Wednesdays at 8:45 am!  Join your son or daughter virtually for KIDS Praise led by our Student Ministries Coordinator, Mrs. Hoke.

 Medication at School

During the course of the school year, your child may need to take medication at school. A “Permission to Administer Medication Form” must be completed with a physician and parent signature. All medications, OVER-THE-COUNTER and PRESCRIPTION, require a completed form and must be in their original containers. Prescription medications, including inhalers, must have a prescription label. Please label OVER-THE-COUNTER medications with your student’s first and last name. Forms are available in the school office or on Parents Web.
