Sophomores and Juniors consider taking a virtual practice SAT or ACT with Revolution Prep.  If these dates do not work, we will be offering more opportunities in the future.

Rotary Student of the Month

Senior Elizabeth Anderson was named Shoreline Rotary Student of the Month for King’s High School in a ceremony on October 28, 2020.  Elizabeth is the daughter of Rick & Holly Anderson of Mukilteo. (pictured on the sides) The Rotary Club honors King’s & Shorewood students reflecting their “Service Over Self” motto.  Elizabeth is known for her acts of service including leading our ASB as Student Body President.  She is the founder of a non-profit that organizes food drives and delivers groceries to people that are at high-risk of COVID-19.  Elizabeth is a 4.0 student and a National Merit Commended Scholar.  We thank God for Elizabeth and the servant leadership she brings to our school.

International Student Harvest Festival

The International Student Harvest Festival took place on Friday, October 30th in Schirmer Auditorium hosted by the International Student Coordinator’s Office.  With social distancing measures in place to include face masks, gloves, temperature checks, and plenty of space to have fun, approximately 18 International students dressed in costume and participated in this Fall event. The fun began with an Autumn Bingo challenge with prizes, followed by a corn hole competition, photo op,  costume contest, candy corn contest, pumpkin carving, and lots of Harvest-type food like caramel apples, kettle corn, Rice Krispie treats, apple cider, corn dogs, candy corn and plenty of bags of candy for everyone.

Students left with not only their hands full, but with the knowledge of All Saints Day and how Christians celebrate All Saints’ Day, also known as All Hallows’ Day, Hallowmas, or the Feast of All Saints.  Thank you, Mrs. Hudon!
