King’s Mock Trial
The King’s High School JV Mock Trial team has the privilege of attending the Harvard Mock Trial High School Seminar Program. The four-day event is split between two weekends with the first seminar series occurring last weekend and the next series coming November 21st and 22nd. Students were in private breakout sessions with Harvard mock trial students to discuss the details of the Washington state mock trial case, The Statue, and in big group, seminars to learn the details of preparing a competitive mock trial case. It was very impressive to see the online engagement of our King’s students. Ask one of these bright, young adults for more details. The team is led by captain, Grace Echelbarger, and returning mock trial students, Carissa Nichoalds, Annie Zhang, Ana Sophia Avendano, and Kate Gerspacher. New mock trial students joining in on this amazing opportunity are Max Kim, Brenna Gerspacher, Savannah Peppler, Micah White, Daveney Marker, Moriah Petree, and Nathan Mehari. The team is coached by Marian Morris and Paul Brown.
